Replacing Resentment1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love hurts long and is kind, but envies not, Love vaunts not, but of others bethought; Love does not hold grudges or provoked, Love rejoices in truth, but never cloaked; Love endures all things, but never fails, Love hopes in all things and ever prevails; Winter snow was fun, except for blizzards, That's when watching for hidden hazards; The roads were closed, even the stores, It was just a winter wonderland outdoors; All seemed so isolated, snow piled so high, When trying to walk it covered your th*gh; Just as soon as you thought you dug out, The snowplow closes it to make you pout; Even though resented having more work, Still grateful, forgiving a driver's smirk; Forgiving is a love not to hold grudge, Because resentment is no way to judge; The only way to put joy in your heart, Have forgiveness pull resentment apart.
