The Good Old DaysAnother meaning to G.O.D. I remember when life such a simple way, Every game easily understood for to play; Slowly the rules had change more perplex, Living now more complicated and complex; We often talk about to the Good Old Days, It is even easy to remember the phrase; Could it be we remember it for a reason? Maybe for that time you found a kitten. Possibly it was for a friend who since died, You know the one who you use to confide; How about the time you took a little trip, The one that you went on a sailing ship; What a time you had while in the Army, You know when going to fight the enemy; It might be when you got your first car, Then suddenly breaking down not too far; The Good Old Days we tend to forget, The one who sent His son to pay our debt; For the letters of G.O.D. often not thought, To give hope now for console to be sought.
