Dawning of a DayPsalm 97:11 As the light dawns for the righteous man, Joy to the pure in heart living God's plan; The best time is an early morning to walk, Being able to look overhead to see a hawk; Sun breaking over the horizon, what a sight, Such a power to see of this bursting light; A sight to behold truly a real spectacle, A new day dawning seem as a miracle; A perfect time as well to see a rising sun, A growing glowing ball, what joyous fun; Catching daybreak, feeling the first rays, Long shafts of streaming golden arrays; Beams of light falling on a chilled face, A feeling as if touched by God's grace; Rejuvenating my body being born anew, As God's splendor of this day's debut; A reminder of when it has not come yet, The day of no dawning and no sunset; The warmth of God looking down on me, No more days looking dark and gloomy.
