Majestic moon up in the skies
Please come and sit with me
I can not sleep a wink at all
Even though I long to dream

Would it be brash for me to say....
Speaking of your luminescent light
How you remind me of his eyes
As they sparkle with delight

Could I reach out for your beams
In hopes to feel his loving arms
Enfolding me in serenity
With his tender manly charms

I know this may seem a girlish whim
As I trace your vision in the air
Seeing his tender cheek on your surface
I simply long to place my hand there...
