Buy Back Time

If only I could buy back time,

I would try to be more kind.
I would try harder to make
my life chime.

I would try to be a better me.
I would try to be as noble as a tall oak tree.
I would try to always smile and be friendly as can be.

I would try to take better care of the ones I love.
I would try to be as gentle as the wings of a
snow white dove.

I would try to think before I leaped.
I would try to work hard for my keep.
I would try to sing and never weep.

I would try to make my life rhyme…
If only I could buy back time!
