Plant the superior seeds of righteousness,
You'll reap a crop of God's blessedness;
I've been told my poetry is good seed,
That calmly inspires all that who read;
In fact a woman wrote me the other day,
Of how much she was really in dismay;
With the loss of a child being stillborn,
About God, it left in her a very big thorn;
She was very angry at God, full of rage,
Feeling like she was trapped in a cage;
Reading my poetry was a good reminder,
God was in control and a good provider;
All things do happen to those who love,
Our Heavenly Father on high up above;
She takes comfort knowing of the plan,
That God sets forth as no one else can;
There's a reason for all of God's results,
Never think that God is throwing insults;
So there is a reason behind every rhyme,
God is using me to help spirits climb.
This poem was inspired by a woman who wrote me about my poetry and how it affected her life. "Last week my family experienced the loss of our unborn child. This has been a devestating loss for us as we very much wanted to share our love with a child and start a family. I have been very angry with God, and your poetry has reminded me that God is in control, that all things happen for good for those who love God. I take comfort in knowing that God has a plan for my life. Thank you Richard. May God continue to use you to inspire others."
