The Lamb of GodJohn 1:29 (1 Corinthians 5:7). The Lamb of God who takes away the sin, Those who believe will be cleansed within; Before there was Christ, Moses was here, Rescuing Israelites from terror and fear; God told Moses they're to sacrifice a lamb, With the blood sprinkled on the door jamb; What seems interesting is just to compare, The significance that these events share; The lamb was without a spot or blemished, Christ was without sin when He perished; The lamb was set aside four days before, Four days prior Christ in Jerusalem's door; Passover the event for the lamb was called, Time of Passover when Jesus is sprawled; The lamb's blood on door posts it showed, Christ's blood down on a cross it flowed; No bones broken in lamb being sanctified, Neither the Christ's bones when crucified; Because of Christ He is the lamb sacrifice, Remaining in God's grace paying the price.
