Light Up Your LifeMatthew 5:14-16 You are the light and the salt of the earth, Ever since you've gone through a rebirth; Remember a city on a hill can not be hid, You don't light a lamp to put under a lid; Rather put it on a stand to light the house, Giving light to all including your spouse; Let your light shine bright for to reflect, The goodness and mercy that you affect; Honor and glorify your Father in Heaven, Who'll reveal to you things that are hidden; So many times we're forced into the dark, Through a life's journey that we embark; Darkness just looms while being all alone, Treading into an area of totally unknown; A friend in trouble needing some advice, A time of despair wanting to be precise, God will light your lamp during prayer, With all of the troubles that you share; Pouring our His grace and blessedness, Light a candle instead of cursing darkness.
