Mortal Sin
Through the hour glass
the grains of time will fall.
No one can tell cause no
one knows who's name
that last little grain
will call.
Sad but true, when life
ends and death begins,
what mattered yesterday
is neither a blessing
nor a sin.
For all time must end,
and to me in that truth...
reveals Adam and Eve's
mortal sin.
