A Sacrificial Love

John 3:16

God so loved the world giving His only Son,
Whosoever believes in Him victory is won;
Never to perish, rather a life everlasting,
Jesus Christ within you for a new creating;
Fire ignites from the Holy Spirit of God,
Turn a minus into a plus that's not flawed;
In your mind Jesus becomes the center,
Able to filter out all that tries to enter;
Then you shall know being at true peace,
When infiltrating temptations will cease;
Love will fill in as it chases away hate,
Patience eases the burden of your wait;
Purpose in life is having more fulfillment,
In a better understanding of atonement;
Jesus came to start the New Covenant,
Love is the main fact that is dominant;
A covenant what God expects from me.
As well as to expect from the Almighty;
With God's unfailing and sacrificial love,
Having a place reserved for me above.
