Avoiding IdolatryPsalm 115:3- 9 Our God is in Heaven doing in His delight, Silver and gold idols made of man's might; They have mouths but are unable to speak, Even with eyes that can not see to seek; They have ears but hear not any sound, Noses on their faces but no smell around; Their hands are not able to lift or carry, Their feet are unable to move voluntarily; They that make them shall be as the same, Putting their trust into greed is to blame; Turn away from your idolatry to be healed, For our God is our help and our shield. Living in today's world has many gods, That mislead and misguide in being frauds; It could be money or maybe even the TV, Possibly a star that you watch in a movie; We tend to push aside God turning away, Temptation lead us off the path to stray; The fact of it is of one God that is true, Confess to the Lord He's waiting for you.
