Desires of the Heart

Psalm 20:4 & 5

May God give you the desires of your heart,
Making your plans to succeed as you impart;
We will shout for joy upon being victorious,
Lifting up our banners in His name glorious.
We all have many of our wants and needs,
Just as in the spring when we plant seeds;
We try to watch over to nurture and grow,
For a bountiful harvest from all we sow;
Without God's help with the sun and rain,
All of our caring will be totally in vain;
And the crops will merely shrivel and die,
Not knowing God, we'd get upset and cry;
So many don't even take in consideration,
Other factors that handle the gestation;
Success can only happen when not afraid,
Taking time in prayer asking for God's aid;
Whether it is for your family or a new job,
No need for you to be alone and to sob;
God knows your need for to give success,
You need to ask for help so He can bless.
