The Shell GameIsaiah 5:20 & 21 Woe to them calling evil good and good bad, For on judgment day they'll be surely sad; Mix darkness for light and light for dark, Confused on every task that they embark; Flip bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter, Tasks undone not admit they're a quitter; Woe to whoever is wise in their own eyes, Being clever, showing prudence in disguise; Looks can be very deceiving to all of us, Whether at home, at work or riding a bus; We tend to judge a book only by its cover, Never to open for the contents to discover; So much we tend to take things for granted, Not realizing that all the odds are slanted; We think if it looks like a duck and quacks, Unknown it was switched behind our backs; Satan loves in playing the old shell game, Performing the bait and switch is his aim; Good reason for God's salvation to receive, Showing us when Satan is trying to deceive.
