Lamp unto My FeetPsalm 119:103-105 How sweet are God's Words unto my taste, Sweeter than honey not to swallow in haste; In gaining understanding, I hate deception, That could be causing such a misconception; For the Word of God is a lamp unto my feet, Light unto my pathway, victory over deceit. Hearing the Scriptures from our Lord God, Should always bring you joy as you applaud; In His love and faithfulness that has shown, Even ensuring that your life would be atone; Listening to His Word has a positive note, For whatever may ail you it has an antidote; Throughout human history we have rebelled, With the false prophets, made us compelled; For it almost seems as if God has forsaken, But we've been sleeping and are mistaken; He has sent His prophets for us to believe, Then we shun them thinking they deceive; One way or another there's nothing to fear, God has His methods for making us hear.
