In the mirror
I see soft brown eyes
And I wonder
Why do they cry

Where is the fire
I saw long ago
Why is it waning
Does anyone know?

Where is the life
Once there inside
Why do I see a little girl
Who is trying to hide

In the mirror
I see ruby red lips
But where is the smile
Can you tell me this?

Where is the happiness
They once knew well
Where are the laugh lines
Why have they fell?

Where is the pucker
And the flirty ways
Are these things gone
In reflections of yesterdays

In the mirror
A reflection I see
Of someone I don't know
Maybe it's me...
