It Is Settled

A Great Hunger Was
Stirring Inside My Soul,
I Could Feel it with
Every Breath . . .
With Such a Deep Desire,
My Heart Was Crying Out.
Feeling Lost and Desperate
I Had Come to the End of Myself,
Understanding How Powerless
And Incapable I Was.
My Whole Being Was Reaching out
To the One Who Could
Restore and Refresh Me,
With His Peace and Love.
I Had Only to Call His Name
Yet . . . I Hesitated
Only for a Fleeting Moment.
Realizing I Was about to
Relinquish My Free Will, Thus
Letting His Will . . . Be Done.
My Heart Began Pounding
Knowing That My Life Was about
To Change . . .
I Knelt and Bowing My Head, I
Beckoned "Jesus" to Come,
. . . Abide in My Heart!
