They Say!

A poem is akin to the evening star.
A brilliant, shiny, twinkling
night light that guides
a path beyond the milky-
way to the human heart,
no matter how far.

A poem may be only words,
but those words can be
empowered to move the
human sprit.

A poem can be infectious,
affecting the minds and
hearts of all who hear it.

A poem is heaven sent,
to soothe the soul of its
reader and relieve the
pain of a weary day.

A poem my be appreciated
by paupers, as well as kings
and queens, they say!

At the end of the day,
when all is said and done…

A poem can be sad, happy or
just great fun!
