Man in Disguise

Living for another.
Darkness as your cover.
Never letting others see your eyes.
Masks for all occasions…
Guide your conversation.
Who would know you’re really in disguise?

Smile for your lover.
Duck and run for cover…
As light begins to fill the morning sky.
Try to use evasion,
To hide your true persuasion.
Don’t let them see you’re really in disguise.

Talk as any other.
Don’t even bother…
To whisper that you really want to cry.
We are living an illusion…
Lost in life’s confusion,
Trapped inside our very own disguise.
