Quiet SuccessI Thessalonians 4:11 You are taught by God to love one another, Love them as your own sister and brother; For you do it toward all to be abound more, Aspire to live quiet not causing an uproar; Mind your business; work with your hands, As being charged for meeting the demands. During our lives we are taught to compete, Keep striving forward never accept defeat; For you are in a race to do it as the best, Better than any of your peers and the rest; Trying to be the best can cause you to feud, Before you know it you become very rude; Our competing nature forgets a simple rule, To just love one another and not be cruel; That's not saying about the best you can be, Just don't be mowing everyone over you see; Worry about your job and not your colleague, You might find yourself out of your league; Quietly work to succeed without any fanfare, And keep showing others how much you care.
