Disappointed ExpectationsExodus 20:6 God does know the integrity of our hearts, Knowing in each one from the law departs; Rather than showing our love we just sin, Pray for forgiveness to be restored within. God always had such great expectations, This brings to some such great aspirations; Regrettably we have been a disappointment, In not being able to cure the human ailment; He wanted to allow us to think on our own, Accomplishing our tasks when we are alone; Create in us a curiosity in all we endeavor, In being creative, witty as well as clever; God did not fail on what He set out to do, Succeeding in giving us the means to pursue; He also had given us the right to choose, That allows us to either reject or refuse; Our Heavenly Father as being compassionate, For making amends that caused our deficit; He will show you how much he does care, When you confess to Him when in prayer.
