Guarding Against DeceptionJames 2:12 - 16 Blessed is he that endures the temptation, From the evil lurking with such deception; He will be rewarded with the crown of life, Of the Lord promises to protect from strife; Let no one say to be tempted, only of God, For God can't be tempted by evil and fraud; Each one of us is enticed by their lustful sin, Bringing forth death whenever deceived within. "Come to me," saying the spider to the fly, A very tempting offer from someone that is sly; An open invitation to all that Satan has made, Any possibility for God's Law is disobeyed; Opportunities are endless in making excuse, Why do we allow earthly pleasures seduce; You need to be strong gain power to resist, Go to God in prayer and ask Him to assist; He will give you the required x-ray vision, Able to see right through Satan's illusion; God has blessings that you can receive, Never to misdirect you or ever deceive.
