HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN
Never Stop The Rain
I hear the gentle tapping
Of the freshly fallen rain
Beating out its soft song
Upon my window pane
Such a soothing feeling
When this melody does begin
Cleansing away my sorrow
Bringing new life back again
Dancing ever so freely
Upon the saturated ground
Then slipping away like a memory
Saying good~bye without a sound
And now if only for a moment
I can forget pained yesterday
For those drops bring out a rainbow
So please never stop the rain
