Truth Beacon for Kids3 John 1:3 & 4 I rejoice greatly in hearing spoken truth, Especially when it is heard from our youth; There is no greater joy than our children, Speaking the truth as a lighthouse beacon. Hearing truth has always been our desire, Knowing exactly how a story to transpire; It's really important for our kids to speak, Truthfully even if consequences are bleak; Too often the truth is how you'll perceive, All of the known facts just how you believe; A misconception occurs if facts are missed, And then the story can take on a new twist; Maybe omitting facts make them look good, Instead of guilt that all the facts would; For once they have learn how to tell a lie, They will find new ways to cheat and deny; Then the path of darkness will their way, Departing from God's trail they will stray; We must inspire kids of future more bright, Speaking truthful as a beacon of pure light.
