Faithfulness in Christ

Colossians 2:6 & 7

As you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord
Walk in Him for faithfulness has its reward;
Root in deep and for being built up within,
With strengthened faith in preventing sin;
As you have been taught abundantly praise,
Sing joyous thanksgiving in voice to raise.
What a joyous time when you accept Christ,
Knowing the reason why he was sacrificed;
Once that you have accepted never let go,
Clinging to Jesus allows your faith to grow;
Some days might not be as you truly desire,
All your ambition seems to put out the fire;
Still give praise to the Lord do not fret,
He'll give you comfort to ease the threat;,
Time moves quickly and it heals the bruise,
With the help of Christ your life continues;
The rock road is rough but it is very short,
It'll be smooth sailing once you reach port;
Never think that it is the end of the world,
Until God has your plan totally unfurled.
