Time doesn't Lie

Day by day…
time quickly ticks away.

We fight, fuss,  plan and pray…
that everything will evolve our way.

But, as sure as Murphy’s law…
the sky seem to all ways fall.

Bad luck…
The deck is stacked against us…
We can’t win for losing.

Why, Oh why…
do we  even bother  to try.

Yesterday is long gone…
Today is all wrong…
and Tomorrow…
never comes.

So let’s just sit around…
and have ourselves…
a merry little break-down…
And  cry…cry… cry.

Look in the mirror…
time doesn’t lie.
