Sweet and Sour Lifestyle

Philippians 2:12 & 13

Even as though you have always obeyed,
Not always within sight have you stayed;
Working out your own salvation with fear,
Causing you to tremble with stress severe;
For it's God in you both to will and employ,
On His own good pleasures and of His joy.
Most people spend at church about an hour,
Then keep on living in both sweet and sour;
Thinking of the sweetness of God's grace,
Even though without being in face to face;
Actually living in such a sour lifestyle,
With having anger and lust in a stockpile;
They do not realize how it all influences,
How a thought and emotion indulgences;
Upfront we feel that everything's alright,
When deep down inside there is a fight;
But we need not fear for God is within,
Combating the forces of lust and sin;
Good reason to spend time of each day,
Approach our Heavenly Father to pray.
