Quenching Your Thirsty SoulPsalm 42:1-3 A young stag craves after flowing streams, So craves my soul after God as it gleams; Because my soul thirsts for the living God, And quench my thirst when He has called; I want to be ready for my time to appear, Being obedient to His voice when I hear; For my tears is food both day and night, Waiting patiently all my soul and might. I look and ponder on God as I anticipate, Actually how long must I have to wait? Asking God for in helping me through, A time of crisis that I can not make do; A time of stress causing so much fear, It is nearly as though God does not hear; I am feeling it to cause me so much pain, As though enough to drive me insane; Of the circumstance I am more to blame, Forgetting the things I always proclaim; Patience is a virtue that is for my sake, In time God will help me with my mistake.
