Building Bridges to God

Psalm 56:3-5

In time as I fear I'll put my trust in God,
In God I put my trust knowing I am flawed;
All day long others may wrest my belief,
Thinking of ways for causing me any grief;
No need for me of mortal flesh to be afraid,
For the trust I have in God will render aid.
A very powerful tool when you are alone,
The Bible helps you explore the unknown;
Putting your very trust into what you read,
Gives you the how and why for to succeed;
It also helps you through toil and danger,
What to do about an approaching stranger;
God gave us wisdom and a power to live,
With the methods on how He will forgive;
Building your trust is as building a bridge,
Between God and you of flowing passage;
Then when you have bridged your gap,
Never fear about evil lurking for to trap;
For God and you are completely in sync,
Because you have completed a vital link.
