Poetic Verses Of Love And Sorrow
The Cloud
"The Cloud"
I once sat
On a beautiful cloud
Looking down on you
So very proud
Your lovely face
The pretty smile
Happiness running through me
All the while
You never knew
I was really there
Looking after you
Because I care
I watched you at work
And also at play
Wishing to be with you
To spend the day
Your beauty below
A treat to see
Was the prettiest sight
There was ever to be
For then I wondered
What does this mean
Sadly I awoke
It was just a dream.
