There shall be a new Heaven and Earth,
For the present ones be no longer worth;
No more separation of land by the sea,
The joys of salvation replacing tyranny;
A Holy City of New Jerusalem lowers,
Down from Heaven to all His followers;
Looking as a bride lovely for Her groom,
Of cheerful voice in chasing the gloom;
For the bride is to be the temple of God,
A place for to commune and promenade;
God to be with us, each and every one,
Together with the Holy Spirit and the Son.
Time is coming and it may be real soon,
No one from the wrath shall be immune;
Those who survive He shall cherish,
While the non-repentants will perish;
No more pain or sadness or sorrow,
As we look for that better tomorrow;
For God shall return to stake His claim,
As His people joyously praise His name.
