My Angel

"My Angel"
Walking through the forest
One beautiful day
I saw an angel
Coming my way
She was dressed in silk
And pretty white lace
A radiant glow
You could see on her face
I knew she was an angel
For you could feel the love
Sitting on her shoulder
Was a pretty white dove
As I watched her
With so much glee
The prettiest sight
I was ever to see
Watching as she played
With her pretty little dove
Knowing we were being watched
From high above
I knew no one would believe
What I had seen
It didn't matter
I knew it wasn't a dream.
