 HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN

Before I Met You


Before the day I met you
And held you in my life
Everything was in turmoil
And nothing felt this right

My dreams were so empty
And I fell in the darkness of night
I begged to find the answers
Bleeding just to know I was alive

Tears I cried were plenty
And I turned inside to hide
Finding kinship in my pain
And the memories that killed me inside

I felt that no one out there
Would ever understand
But everything was changed
The moment you touched my hand
