My Friend....True Story

"My Friend....True Story"
I once had a dogie named Felix
He was my very best friend
I had him since he was a puppy
We were together right to the end
His little body, so worn and frail
Yet he tried so hard, to wag his tail
At night I would lift him onto my bed
We would lie there as I stroaked his head
One night he looked at me as if to say
I'm sorry, but I think It's time to go away
As a tear sadly rolled down my cheek
I knew this is what I heard him speak
Do not cry and please don't be sad
For you're the best friend I ever had.
