Commune with God

Matthew 6:4-8

Whatever you are donate it is in secrecy,
As well as praying in complete intimacy;
Your Heavenly Father rewards you openly,
Bestowing of which shall be abundantly.
When you pray just don't be a hypocrite,
That is another way acting as a counterfeit;
They love to pray standing in the temple,
Or on the street be seen by other people;
Pray in secret and not in vain repetition,
As taught by Jesus Christ in His tradition.
Your Father in Heaven knows your need,
So please never mix it up with any greed;
Ensure you know which desires are real,
Before asking Him it is not just a spiel;
Find a nice quiet place you're able to pray,
For the confidentiality you wish to convey;
Admit to all of what you have been wrong,
Ask for forgiveness so you remain strong;
Talk with Him setting the record straight,
If not doing now tomorrow maybe too late.
