Thoughts of InspirationPsalm 143:5-9 I can remember the days that have gone by, Meditating on all of God's works as I sigh; I'm inspired of all the work with His hands, Reaching out and knowing He understands; Failed spirit within as I look for his face, Thirsting for His presence and in His grace; Hearing His loving kindness of who I trust, To walk His way rather than towards lust; Uplifting to my soul knowing He has a key, A place to hide from my enemies as I flee. I just sit to marvel what was accomplished, Inspiring to me what must be cherished; Thinking of what His hands has been done, With the earth, moon, stars and the sun; I put my trust into Him for everything, For the sense of security He will bring; The Lord helps protect me, never to fear, Because I am certain He always is near; Then with anticipation I patiently wait, To stand before Him at Heaven's Gate.
