Maturing to GodI Corinthians 13:11-13. When I was a child, I understood as a child, I had childish thoughts that were compiled; Just how I also spoke each and every day, But as a man I put my childish things away; Now through a glass, but then face to face, Now I know in part, then shall I know grace; For faith, hope and love is within to abide, The greatest of these is love that's inside. There were a lot of things not understood, As we were growing up through childhood; For us everything was merely just a game, For things done wrong we felt no shame; We had no conscience as being immature, Even though in being bad, our minds pure; We had no perception of wrong and right, Until our parents disciplined for insight; In growing up, we then changed our views, Realizing about having us to pay our dues; Maturing as we accepted our responsibility, Faith and hope in God, in love as priority.
