Heart Confessions

I never knew how much I needed you
Until I had to walk a day alone
My hand always reaches for your hand
Funny how dependency has grown

I can't make a single step
For my tears get in the way
I know that I would falter at once
Over every single passing day

I never knew I could feel so helpless
Like a sailess ship out on the sea
Like a maiden waiting to be rescued
Begging for you to hear my plea

This is nothing but my heart confessing
How I feel when you're not with me
Lost and alone without your love
Afraid of the path ahead I see
