The Ticking ClockII Peter 3:9 & 10 The Lord is not slack to keep His promise, As you already know by now He is serious; He is patient with us showing disrespect, No desire of anyone to perish or neglect; Rather a chance for everyone to repent, Instead of the suffering an eternal torment; The day will come as a thief in the night, And Heaven will pass away in great fright; As everything shall melt in a fervent heat, All the earth shall burn and will deplete. God is good all the time through this life, And does not want us to suffer with strife; But a time to come when our insurrection, He no longer allows us in that direction; A clock ticks unknown when it will alarm, And exactly when God turns off the charm; Unfortunately then it will be far too late, Wasting time until the last minute to wait; Each and everyone who ever has misbehaved, Never confessing and asking to be saved.
