Old Words of New HopePsalm 119:49-52 Remember the Word unto you giving hope, For the comfort of affliction that you cope; The Word of God energizes for new life, That quickly dissipates all forms of strife; Those with pride are eager to persecute, Bending the laws in order as to prosecute; But think of the Holy Law and do not divert, For the judgments of old will give comfort. In times of need there is one place to turn, That gives you all the answers you yearn; The Holy Word as true today just as when, The very day it was written way back then; The Bible is a timeless piece chasing fear, Giving you the comfort that help is near; Always able to guide you through a time, No matter what the severity or the crime; To think of all the law makers of the world, Be unemployed if the Word was unfurled; New hope of old Words are as true today, If we firmly believe and follow God's way.
