I am but a simple poet
Who tries her very best
To show the feelings from within
This heart inside her chest

Sometimes words escape me
I tell you this is true
So please help me find the words
To say that I love you

It goes far beyond adoration
This feeling is more unique
So please help me find the words
That my heart longs to speak

It's more amazing than the heavens
Words like majestic will not do
It's a pleasure that surpasses serene
This love I have for you

So please help this simple poet
As she tries to profess her love for you
For in all the words she has found today
Nothing describes this love so true
