Rise and Fall of PeoplePsalm 33:11 & 12 The counsel of the Lord stands an eternity, With thoughts of His heart to you and me; So bless the nation whose God is the Lord, As long as their people have not ignored; For the chosen will have an inheritance, But whoever turn away expect pestilence. It's interesting to think some on the earth, Seem to be blessed more since their birth; Some prosper others not how it can baffle, So strange that thought that we are equal; Empires grow so great then fall and tumble, A possibility of they did not remain humble; God is looking at all who on earth do dwell, Living up in the mountains down in the dell; He sees all their works both good and bad, Of pleasing things and what makes him sad; Those who have suffered and began to pray, Ones who prospered then have turned away; Their humbleness has been replace by pride, God will avenge those who no longer abide.
