Deceitful DecreesPsalm 120:1 & 2 In a moment of distress we plead with God, He was could hear me while being a fraud; Asking to deliver my soul with lying lips, Along with a deceitful tongue that quips; O such an evil and wicked web we weave, With the lips and tongue tend to deceive; We say that we are for peace as we speak, And act as though to be humble and meek; Deep inside being full of greed and hate, With no patience for helping us to wait; The desire in waging a war for to fight, Anyone gets in your way, ready to smite; You can not expect God to dwell within, If you are completely full of deceitful sin; You are thinking that God will provide, With having all the dirt and clutter inside; God is not blind, able to see right through, Seeing if you are to yourself being true; Clean your closet where skeletons hide, Confessing giving room for God to abide.
