Holy Spirit: Link to God

Romans 8:26-28

The Spirit helps with our weakness and ills,
For not knowing as to pray of that instills;
But the Spirit meditates an inaudible sound,
Requesting what in our heart that is found;
He knows with intercession for the saints,
As for the will of God and its constraints;
We know that all things do work together,
To the good who love God and each other;
The Holy Spirit is within helping us along,
Rendering aid when something is wrong;
Our lustful temptation does make us weak,
As the Spirit comes and starts to speak;
But we are not able to hear a single word,
Since it is not a language we have heard;
In our heart for seeing how we truly feel,
If all our requests are actually for real;
For the Holy Spirit does know what is best,
Passing along them and foregoing the rest;
Our link to God is through the Holy Spirit,
Ensuring all we ask of God is truly legit.
