I had given up on love and life
Until fate caught me by surprise
As I looked I found love standing
Right before my eyes

It wasn't what I was searching for
Though my world was not complete
I never thought love would be standing
Right in front of me

Now that I have found it
How can I let it go
For the first time my world is right
My heart and soul are whole

Tell me what I have done to deserve
This beautiful gift so sweet
I have your heart here in my hands
It means the world to me

I shall cherish every minute
Paint my love among the skies
I could not ask for anything more
Than the love standing right before my eyes
