In the Stillness of the Night
In the stillness of the night,
When the sun is out of sight;
Your handiwork I do see.
So magnificently displayed,
In the heavenly skies;
Stars that glimmer so bright.
In the stillness of the night,
When all is asleep and all is quite;
Your masterpiece I do glimpse.
So majestically presented,
High up in the sky;
A moon that shines with silvery light.
In the stillness of the night,
While looking at your might;
Your heavenly creation I do see.
Made for us so long ago,
That all of mankind;
While in darkness still have guide.
