A Heavenly FortressIsaiah 26:1-4 A strong city with fortified infrastructure, As salvation from God through scripture; Faith strengthens the walls of the city, Gates made of gold that really look pretty; Open the gates so the righteous enter in, That holds the truth and is free from sin; With a heart kept within a perfect peace, And a steadfast mind filled with expertise; All because of the trust built on the Lord, An everlasting strength, faith is assured. Always in God we have a mighty fortress, A strength not failing in our faithfulness; A bulwark that surrounds for to protect, From evil forces attempting to insurrect; As the city inside structured in every way, For the perfect harmony in living each day; Golden gates open only for the righteous, For their reward God will be sure to bless; No chaotic confusion be found in Heaven, The only place for to go after I have risen.
