A Race of FaithHebrews 12:1-3 Surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, Discard all obstacles that are weaknesses; Sin so easily entangles as a web we weave, Not even realizing just how it will deceive; Be patient through life as we run this race, Till we hit the finish line see Jesus' face; For He's the author to faith suffering loss, As the plan was set in enduring the cross; Despising the shame as was vividly shown, Now sits at the right hand of God's throne; Consider Him enduring such contradiction, Giving those sinners a chance at salvation. Such a chaotic society that we're living in, Every direction you turn is filled with sin; It distorts our perception robbing vitality, As it slowly changes our sense of morality, It is baffling of the direction of mankind, Being wearied and faint within your mind; We must let go of our sin that we cling to, Then committing in wheresoever pursue.
