Searching for Treasure

Luke 12:29-32

Seek not what you eat or what you drink,
Neither hold any doubt of what you think;
In these are what the nations already seek,
But your Father knows before you speak;
Rather search for the Heavenly Kingdom,
God will give you all plus share wisdom;
So fear not for it's your Father's pleasure,
To give you the Kingdom and its treasure.
We tend to seek of the wrong things in life,
Then getting obsessed to fill with strife;
Now more than ever people look to greed,
A material world feeling what they need;
So allowing money to take a firm control,
As your devotion to God will take its toll;
When you treasure things of this earth,
There is a limited amount in its worth;
But of Heaven you will treasure eternally,
That you can appreciate from God totally;
Whether you go to church or to Wal-Mart,
Wherever your treasure is so is your heart.
