What am I? Who am I?
Child of the King
Christ in me
Days go by
More consumed with victory
Than with doubt and questions why
Who I am?
Child of the King
Christ in me
Overwhelmed to hear You
Calling me daughter
Drawing me near to You
Oh Father, who am I?
Child of the King
Christ in me
Words are hard to find
For this love which fills my mind
You love me! You love me!
It’s Your character to give everything
Selfless King
Why me? Why me?
It’s not me – it’s You
Who You are
Who You long for me to be
A sinless, perfectly created being
Now all You see
Is Christ in me
A child of the King
Christ in me
I cannot logically understand
What could possibly move you to become human?
To walk this land
But You can, yes, love can
The One who created
Walked in and among His own creation
No wonder He said,
"even if they were silent the rocks would burst forth in praise"
They know "the Ancient of days"
He came for you and I
He came to love
He came to willingly die
Who am I?
Child of the King
Christ in me
