Return of the Lord

Titus 2:11-14

The grace of God brought salvation to all,
To avoid the depths of Hell as a downfall;
Teaching us to deny ungodliness and lust,
Living soberly and where to put our trust;
Looking for the blessed hope of our God,
With Jesus Christ for us to honor and laud;
Giving of Himself for us so He might save,
From all iniquity and uplift from the grave.
All good Christians are waiting for the day,
When Jesus Christ returns to light our way;
Knowing by the grace of God being saved,
From the bondage of sin that had enslaved;
The Bible teaches us to live life in purity,
Helping all our neighbors through charity;
We are to love one another even our enemy,
An eternal life for believers as you and me;
It's more than just saying that you believe,
If not from the heart then you only deceive;
For when the Lord returns He will know,
Who tells true and who has hot air to blow.
